So why all of the sudden launch a worldwide media assault on a guerrilla leader who hasn’t been seen in 6 years.
Invisible Children supports a military intervention against the LRA ( Lords Resistance Army ). Which would mean sending troops in to Uganda, Sudan and the Congo to fight against the LRA, which according to Invisible Children still has child soldiers. The U.S has sent a small peacekeeping force to address the Kony issue.
IC’s intentions mean well but they are misspending there donations. 69% of money that the charity receives goes directly to filmaking, travel and transportation while only 15% of donations is actually used to rescue kidnapped children in Africa.
